Kaitlynn Mitchell is a mother and wife who pours her heart and soul into every project that comes her way. She is the founder & principal designer of K.Mitchell Design Co. INC, and is passionate about family, love and all things design and decor.
 
Kaitlynn is best known for her clean, contemporary style and brings her designs to life by infusing the spaces with a light, bright and sophisticated approach . She has engaged in projects helping clients transform small to large spaces, from existing property remodelling to new construction. These experiences have taught her the value of building strong, long term relationships with her clients and the importance of quality vs. quantity.

Your general design consultation will include up to two hours in your home discussing the scope of work and design vision in full detail.

E-Design Package

 

Are you interested in our service but live outside the area’s we service? If so, distance doesn’t need to stop us from working together. How does this work? Over the phone or via e-mail I will send you a list of questions that are specific to your space and design vision. I will request images of the space(s), measurements and orientation of the room. Once I gather all the information needed, I will put together a design box with all the tools you need and send the package to you. When you receive your package, you can review all the items with us over the phone or via e-mail. Once you are completely happy with all the elements of your design package, you can begin purchasing items and bring your space(s) to life.

Kaitlynn’s most recent undertaking has been working with the fairway collection in the well sought after estate community of Deer Creek. For these homes, Kaitlynn envisioned a contemporary twist on the traditional style with emphasis on warm wood tones, subtle texture, clean lines and sophistication. Kaitlynn’s intention was to create a seamless transition from the warm, welcoming and breath taking exterior surroundings by incorporating calming colours and thoughtful functionality. The objective was to create calm, inspiring and relaxing homes while utilizing all the natural light to create a sense of harmony. Although the design concepts are mostly based on a neutral colour palettes, her goal is to make a few bold, unexpected statements to enhance interest and balance in the homes.
